We have begun to recognise the importance of reliable employee’s. The area that hurts us most on projects is lack of reliability and staff not turning up on site and often with out communication. As an employer this is frustrating it has a negative impact on relationships with clients and slows down productivity on site.

At Micam Group we have implemented new systems to ensure consistency and trust in our employee’s including an in-depth recruitment process, pre employment screening, reference checking and suitable placement for our candidates. We believe putting employee’s first is key. If you look after your employees they will looks after your clients. As part of our Employee Welfare Program Micam recently introduced in July 2019.

Safety is a major issue through out the construction industry. Accidents happen frequently every year and often these accidents are a result of failing to wear the correct or any PPE.
It is essential when working on a construction site you always wear the correct PPE to ensure your safety and wellbeing.

Micam Group are proud to announce we are in the early stages of developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) with Reconciliaton Australia.

What is a RAP?

A RAP is a strategic document that supports an organisation’s business plan. It includes practical actions that will drive an organisation’s contribution to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which it operates.
The RAP Program contributes to advancing the five dimensions of reconciliation by supporting organisations to develop respectful relationships and create meaningful opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Each of the four RAP types (Reflect, Innovate, Stretch, Elevate) set out the minimum elements required from your organisation to build strong relationships, respect and opportunities within your organisation and community.
