Organised for Success

Creating good habits, organised people aren’t born: they are built.

At Micam Group being organised has been the key to our success.

Key Areas our people pride themselves on organisational standards we have set.

  1.  Setting Priorities – We ensure we complete the correct tasks on time in order to achieve our goals. We are constantly reviewing and planning our systems to provide the best service on the market.
  2. Simple Solutions – We keep it simple at Micam Group. When organising systems are complex, they often go unused. We are always looking at ways we can simplify our processes to maximize our productivity for both our clients and our employees.
  3. Looking into the future – The use of a two person mindset, the present self and the future self is a common mindset at Micam Group. We are always one step a head preparing for our next project, preparing for our next labour requirement.

We are excited for the upcoming new year 2020. Our team has been working tirelessly creating a platform like no other. When it comes to supplying labour, we are prepared.

Do you leap out of bed in the morning, eager to start your day?

At Micam Group we are passionate about people. Let us tell you why.

Passionate people take pride in their presentation and how they hold themselves standing out from the crowd.

Key Benefits of having passion in your life and being a passionate person include:

Never working a day in your life. Your work is who you are. You do what you do as often as you can because there is nothing else you would rather be doing.
Your level of excitement is high. Even the simplest of things can make a passionate person excited not because you are never calm or you are boring. It just means it would take you a lot less to get excited and it happens more frequently. Seeing the progress as a result of your devoted energy you’ve put into your passion brings great levels of joy and satisfaction.
You will always be focused. Talking about your passion all the time keeping your goals and ambitions always in sight.
Nothing is done in half measures. You always give 110% regardless of the outcome. You go full tilt until you cross the finish line or crash. If you are relaxed and still, then you are relaxed and still. There is no in between.
Willingness to take risks not being afraid of failure. How much you want something is reflected by how much you’re willing to risk. Passionate people put it all on the line.
No time will be wasted. You won’t find a passionate person sitting in their bedroom all day playing play station. They don’t have time to do things that just kill time. They enjoy what they do, and they don’t want waste any opportunities.
You will be Optimistic. You know that feeling you get when your looking forward to a very special event? Passionate people feel like that every day. You will always be focused on what can be rather then what is. Believing you can achieve your next goal.
You will be Obsessive. Not in an unhealthy way but in a positive way constantly looking at ways you can improve and staying focused. No matter what else is going on your thoughts will always return to your passion. You are obsessed with your muse because it inspires you and makes you happy.

At Micam Group we encourage our team to find their passion and work towards aligning these goals at work.

We are passionate about our people. We are passionate about building Australia’s Future through construction. #peopleyoucancounton #whenyouneedpeople

We have begun to recognise the importance of reliable employee’s. The area that hurts us most on projects is lack of reliability and staff not turning up on site and often with out communication. As an employer this is frustrating it has a negative impact on relationships with clients and slows down productivity on site.

At Micam Group we have implemented new systems to ensure consistency and trust in our employee’s including an in-depth recruitment process, pre employment screening, reference checking and suitable placement for our candidates. We believe putting employee’s first is key. If you look after your employees they will looks after your clients. As part of our Employee Welfare Program Micam recently introduced in July 2019.

A program dedicated for employees to create a plan for each individual. A plan which includes goal setting, career advice and support.

Micam Group are proud to announce we are in the early stages of developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) with Reconciliaton Australia.

What is a RAP?

A RAP is a strategic document that supports an organisation’s business plan. It includes practical actions that will drive an organisation’s contribution to reconciliation both internally and in the communities in which it operates.
The RAP Program contributes to advancing the five dimensions of reconciliation by supporting organisations to develop respectful relationships and create meaningful opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Each of the four RAP types (Reflect, Innovate, Stretch, Elevate) set out the minimum elements required from your organisation to build strong relationships, respect and opportunities within your organisation and community.

At Micam Group we are passionate about creating a diverse and inclusive environment. We are very excited to be beginning our reconciliation journey.

1. Reduces Cost
Using a labour hire company will help you keep your project on budget because your labourers are not hired by your company directly. Having your labourers hired by a labour hire company cuts costs including all administration tasks, payroll, and all the other aspects associated.
2. Flexibility
On most projects’ labourers are generally only required for a period. Using temporary staff supplied by a labour hire company means you can access those resources for the duration you need them stress free.
